Support and Enhancements Contract

     New Century Software prides itself on providing excellent client support. That means service that is quick and reliable, from people that not only know the software but also understand your business. New Century Software currently services approximately 250 construction and service contractors. We have been providing very efficient phone and modem support to customers across Canada and the US. We pride ourselves on our quick response time, which in most cases results in zero waiting time. Support is unlimited, so you will never run out of support time or have to purchase additional hours to get answers to your questions. The New Century support contract includes the following:

Technical Support

     Technical support includes program fixes, and error correction. The programmers providing this support each have over 10 years experience with the Jonas software.

Procedural Support

     Procedural support includes processing and reconciliation questions, and is provided by skilled industry experts. These consultants each have over 15 years experience with software in the construction industry.

Upgrades and Enhancements Support

     The support contract provides clients with updates and enhancements to the software, as well payroll tax changes as required. Many new features are continually added to the software package, most of which are generated from a total client base of over 800 customers. These customers are all in the construction and service business. Therefore the enhancements incorporated into the package are of great direct benefit to all the customers.

Remote Software Support

     In addition to providing phone support, our technical and procedural support staff are able to log on to your system remotely, provided they are granted access by the client. This method can help to quickly resolve even the most difficult or unique software challenge.

Training

     The employees at New Century have installed a combined total of over 700 construction and service contractor integrated accounting computer software systems. The combination of knowledge and experience possessed by our consultants will ensure a successful implementation.

     Training is done right at the client site. While you are being trained you will be building your actual database in a test company. This will allow you to learn the software while using your actual data and get a true feel for how you will eventually be using the system. When you do go live on the software, you can simply copy the data to your real company. This process allows clients to have the system up and running in the shortest time possible, yet have a thorough understanding of the program. You can also keep the test company on the system for practicing new procedures or training new employees.

 

Consulting/Custom Programming

     In addition to training, New Century Software’s industry experts can provide consulting services for any special requirements a client may have. If any customized programming is required, New Century’s consultants and programmers will work with your staff to successfully implement a solution that is custom tailored to your needs. Many of the custom programs developed are eventually incorporated into the standard program. This allows all users to benefit from changes and enhancements made by other clients.

     New Century software issues a newsletter periodically to inform clients of important changes to the software and upcoming events such as conferences or seminars.
