Budgeting Info
The Jonas software allows users to set up budget information for both
financial and job cost reporting.
Reports can then be produced comparing actual costs and revenues to
budgeted or estimated figures.
Key Features
- Enter GL budget figures by month or enter a total figure for the year.
- Budget figures can be copied from one year to the next and adjustments
made.
- Budget information may be uploaded from a spreadsheet in an excel or
lotus file format.
- Job estimates may be entered in detail, breaking out cost and
quantity/hour estimates for each cost item and cost type. Estimates may
also be entered in a fast entry mode, entering either cost or
quantity/hour information for all cost items and types listed.
- Job estimate information may also be updated from a spreadsheet in
either an excel or lotus file format.
Reports/Inquiries
- General Ledger and Job Cost report generator reports may be set up
comparing actual costs to budget or estimated figures.
- Job Views allows the user to view actual costs compared to estimate
for a job at the cost item level. The user may drill down and look at
the information for all cost types for the cost item.
